3 Saturdays: Magic Loop Sock Class Starts June 18

3 Saturdays: June 18, 25 & July 9.   9:30 am - 11:30 am

Learn Magic Loop Sock Knitting with one of our favorite teachers, Barbara Grubbs!

The Magic Loop technique is a method of knitting socks or small circumferences using one long circular needle.  Magic Loop knitting is a handy alternative method for those who tire of using their double pointed needles.

We'll meet three times for 2 hours.  In the first class, we'll cast on and start our socks.  You'll have to do some knitting at home after the first class, so that, during the second class, we can all learn how to turn a heel with this cool technique.

Tuition includes one 40" long Addi Turbo circular knitting needle and your own copy of the book "Sensational Socks" by Charlene Schurch.  Students will need to purchase a 100 gram skein of sock yarn (available at LYS).  We stock lots of different sock yarns at LYS, so arrive a little early for the first class to make your selection and purchase your sock yarn!

Skill Level: Intermediate. You MUST know how to cast on, knit, purl, increase & decrease.  Prior sock knitting experience helpful.
Instructor:  Barbara Grubbs.
Dates:  Saturdays June 18, 25 & July 9.
Time:   9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Tuition:  $88.00

Registration CLOSES June 4th 6pm.  Class size limited.
